Located in a small village in the Gloucestershire countryside, The Old Rectory is an ideal bed and breakfast base from which to tour the beautiful Cotswolds, and a haven of peace for those wanting a few days of rest and quiet.

The area is steeped in English tradition and culture with famous gardens, important wool churches and the Roman town of Cirencester. Kelmscott Manor, summer home of designer William Morris, is a few miles away.

Further afield, the historic city of Gloucester, the spa towns of Bath and Cheltenham and the beautiful university city of Oxford are all within easy driving distance.

The Old Rectory is an impressive 17th C. listed Cotswold stone building surrounded by attractive gardens. The en-suite bedrooms - one double and one twin (will convert to a double) - are spacious, airy and furnished with antiques. Family accommodation by arrangement. Outside there is a woodland walk and a tennis court and swimming pool are available by arrangement.

The village of Meysey Hampton has a pub - The Masons' Arms - within easy walking distance, where good value pub meals and real ale are available. There are also many good pubs and restaurants nearby.

Meysey Hampton is located just off the A417 Cirencester - Lechlade road.
